Jo Anne Crouse, 80, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at her home. Services for Jo Anne will be 10 am, Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Jo Anne was born on April 15, 1938 in Hannibal, MO.

, a daughter of Albert and Roberta (Miller) Gibbons. She married Harold Crouse on June 12, 1954 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2017.

Jo Anne took care of children in her home for many years. Later she worked at the I Wireless Center. She loved children and her especially her family.

She enjoyed her friends, card club, the “Bag Ladies” shopping group, camping, traveling, fishing, boating and her swim class at RIFAC. Jo Anne could always be found at her grandchildren’s sporting events. Survivors include her children, Daniel (Shawn) Crouse, Eldridge, Iowa, Sue (Steve) Morelock, Davenport, Tammie (Joe) Healy, Rock Island, Michael (DeAnna) Crouse, Rock Island; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Gibbons, Carlton, OR.

Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; son, David Crouse; sisters, Eva Teel and Emorine Schwieters; and a brother, Edward Gibbons.
