Jo Anne’s Obituary Jo Anne Wright O’Rourke formally of Mexico, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2019. A graveside comital service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Cemetery. She was born to the late Opha Dodd Wright and Clarence Wright, the youngest of six children on August 2, 1934.

She married the love of her life, Charles O’Rourke on December 26, 1955 at St. Brendan’s Church. Jo Anne lived her life to the fullest and at full speed. She was a friend to everyone and knew no strangers.

Jo Anne had a very generous heart and was active in many philanthropic ventures including church and many service organizations. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi (service organization) and the Women’s Pilot Association (The 99ers). She is survived by her husband, Charles; her four children, Jane Walsma, Robert O’Rourke, Andy O’Rourke, and Tim O’Rourke; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
