Virginia’s Obituary Virginia Mae Behlmann, 75, of Auxvasse, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital-Audrain in Mexico. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg. Burial will follow in St. Brendan Cemetery in Mexico.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at the church. Ginny was born December 8, 1943 in Cottleville, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Helen (Pfaff) Wies. On June 26, 1965 in Cottleville, she married Donald Anthony Behlmann.

He passed away on October 5, 2010. Mrs. Behlmann graduated from Assumption High School in O’Fallon. She was a self-employed beautician and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg.

Ginny loved doing yard work, especially taking care of her flowers and bushes. She enjoyed having a large garden until she no longer was able. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three children, Barry (Wendy) Behlmann of Auxvasse, Brad (Kimberly) Behlmann of Auxvasse and Tricia (Tim) Huddleston of Auxvasse; five grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Huddleston, Kaden and Kylie Brooks, and Levi Case; two great-grandchildren, Arianna and Tucker Case; two brothers, Kenneth (Loraine) Wies of Fayette and Michael (Karen) Wies of Troy; three sisters, Betty Suellentrop of St. Charles, Geri Sachs of O’Fallon and Terry Smith of Foley; and one sister-in-law, Connie Sebacher of St. Charles. In addition to her husband, Donald, Ginny was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Behlmann; four sisters, Dolores Merz, Ruth Ellen Boehle, Mary Ann Conoyer and Margie Collins; and one brother, Gerry Wies. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, c/o Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
