JoAnn’s Obituary JoAnn White “Mema” passed away peacefully at her home in Kaufman, Texas on Sunday March 10, 2019. JoAnn was born on September 27, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Hubert and Gyneth Franklin. JoAnn was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many.

She is survived by three sons; Marcus Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey and wife Renee Dorsey and James A. White. Also surviving her are 2 daughters Jill Dorsey, Christie Williams and husband Bill, son in law Gary Rich, sister Lena Franklin Badgett and brother Bill Franklin. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jim White, daughter Kari Lynn Rich, mother and father Hubert and Gyneth Franklin, sisters Sherry Blackwell and Tammy Franklin Obar.
