Richard’s Obituary Richard Lee Kent, 78 of Kaufman, Texas went home to his Savior on February 2, 2019. Richard was born in Waco, Texas to Richard Lee and Beatrice Kent. Richard married Betty Vaselka on January 23, 1960 in Waco, Texas.

Richard and Betty moved to Kaufman in 1996 and has lived here ever since. Richard owned and operated Kent Tire & Auto in Kaufman for 10 years. He loved dirt track racing and was well known for being in the # 47 car.

Richard enjoyed going fishing for crappie. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Richard loved many things but none more than his family and he will be greatly missed.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Betty Kent, Sons: Dennis Raymond Kent and wife Bobbie, Michael Lee Kent, Richard Lee Kent III, Brothers: Tommy Kent and wife Sarah, Sisters: Joy Dean McGaugh, Nelda Kent, Grandchildren: Steven Kent, JustinKent , Kyle Kent , Dawson Kent, Great-Grandchildren: Karson Kent, Finlee Kent, Laeklyn Kent, Meilah Kent, Karlee Kent. Richard was preceded in death by his Parents: Richard Lee Kent Sr. and Beatrice (Martin) Kent, Son: Charles W. Kent, Grandson: Christopher Kent, Brothers:” Jimmy and Danny Kent.
