OBITUARY Joe Tom ROGERS October 6, 1927 – July 19, 2018 Joe T Rogers,90, a life long resident of Fort Worth passed away July 19, 2018. Memorial Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Joe was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and graduated from Paschal High School and TCU.

He worked at Texas Electric for 32 years. He loved to travel, spend time with his grandchildren, a big supporter of the North Texas Animal Shelter, and was a huge TCU sports fan. He was married to Carolyn Walker Rogers for 60 years.

Grandy will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by wife, Carolyn; daughter, Cheryl Rogers. Survivors: sons, Mike and Renee Sanders, Randy and Michele Rogers; brother, Charles ” Red” Rogers; grandchildren, Joe, Ryon, Samantha, Hilary; great grandchildren, Micah, RJ, Aiden.
