Johanna F. Meyer June 1, 1918 – January 4, 2019 Johanna (Anna) age 100 went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday January 4th. She was born in Utrecht, Holland to Jan Willem and Gertruida Van Loon. Her husband Herman of 67 years preceded her in death.

She is survived by her twin daughters, Margie Carroll and husband Dennis of Del Rio and Hetty Pardee and husband Stan of Tucson, Arizona. She has seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Everyone who met her knew right away that she believed the promises in God’s Word.

She is enjoying the promised reward right now. There will be a celebration of her life at the G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, January 12, at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Tommy Sondag of Del Rio Christian Fellowship officiating. Her family thanks Hospice for the tender loving care she received.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Hospice of Val Verde Regional Medical Center, 801 Bedell Avenue, Del Rio, Texas 78840.
