John’s Obituary John William Crouch, 71, of Findlay, died on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Bridge Hospice Care Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on November 9, 1947 to the late Clifton and Catherine “Kay” Crouch. He married Patricia Kay Tussing on December 6, 1969.

John is survived by his loving wife, two sons: Scott (Shannon) Crouch of Tiffin, Ohio and Matt (Suzanne) Crouch of Findlay, Ohio, grandchildren: US Airman Joshua, Alisha, Bryson and Benson Crouch. John is also survived by his sister, Mary Hool, brother-in-law Kelly (Deb) Tussing, sisters-in-law Shelley (Tom) Parker and Pamela (Dave) Howe as well as many nieces and nephews. John was proceeded in death by his brother James “Jim” Crouch, in-laws Alvin and Betty Tussing, and brother-in-law, Christopher Hool and sister-in-law Paula (Tussing) Hall.

John graduated from Deshler Local High School in 1967 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Independence from 1967-1971. He worked at Sherwin Williams in Deshler, Ohio upon his return from service for 22 years. He also served as a Deputy Sheriff for the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, a Police Officer for Deshler and McComb Police Departments as well as an EMS first responder in Deshler.

In retirement John served as a security guard at Brown Mackie College-Findlay and most recently worked at Walmart. John will be remember for his quick wit and ornery sense of humor and his ability to make others smile. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandkids.

He was proud of his grandson Joshua for recently graduating the United States Air Force Basic Training. Visitation for John will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 201 Osborn Ave. , Findlay, OH 45840.

His funeral service will be on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 1:30 PM in the funeral home, Pastor Mark Bauer, officiating. At the conclusion of the service, Miltary honors will be rendered by the Hancock County Memorial Squad. Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave.
