John’s Obituary John D. Pike, 65, of Battle Creek, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was born on May 9, 1953, in Battle Creek, MI, the son of Elmer and Margaret (Bresnahan) Pike. He was a graduate of Hastings High School.

He was formerly employed by FlexFab in Hastings and at the Hastings Public Schools bus garage. He was last employed at the Holiday Inn in Battle Creek. John enjoyed tinkering and fixing small engine projects.

He also enjoyed movies, fishing and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. John was a religious and spiritual. He didn’t settle on one church he attended many.

One of his favorite verses was John 3:16. John is survived by his daughters Gina (Randall Goss) Pike, Sara (George Crawford) Pike and Jessica (Dan Dye) Pike all of Battle Creek He also leaves his grandchildren Emily, Trinity and Landen sisters Kathy (Gary) Price of Bellvue and Betty Smith of Battle Creek and his brother David (Kathy) Pike of Ceresco. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Royal Funeral Home. www.
