John’s Obituary John David Brown, 66 of Sealy, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 in Columbus, Texas. John David Brown, 66, of Sealy, Texas passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. He was born August 29, 1952, to John William Brown and Florence Mae (Roensch) Jurajda in Weimar, Texas.

He married Patricia Esterak on October 4, 1975. They were owners of Century 21 Real Estate Co. John David before retiring was an employee of the State of Texas Prison Luther Unit as a guard, EMS for Austin Co. and Colorado Co., and Sealy Volunteer Fire Department. John David is survived by his parents Mother Florence Roensch Jurajda and Step-Father William Jurajda, of Columbus, Tx; Father John William Brown and Step-Mother Anita Brown of Whitney, Tx.

Brothers Billy, wife Kay of Columbus, TX. , Thomas, wife Vicki of Katy, TX, Kenneth, wife Donna of Sealy, TX, and sister Susan Leschper, husband Andrew of Sealy, TX. Numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephew, brother-in-law Benny Stancik of Sealy.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Esterak Brown, grandparents Willie & Alma Roensch, Edward & Mammie Brown. Close friend, Billy Teague of Eagle Lake, TX. Memorials may be made in John David Brown’s name to: American Diabetes Associations 2400 Augusta Dr., Suite 175, Houston, TX 77057-4989.
