John was born August 11, 1945 in El Campo, Texas and was a resident of Flatonia for 3 years, formerly from Alvin, Texas. John proudly served in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held immediately after at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Scott Funeral Home. Services will be officiated by Pastor Justin Gatlin.
