Obituary for John G. Malans John Gregory Malans, 59, of High Springs passed away April 17, 2018. Mr. Malans was born March 1, 1959 in Gainesville, but had been a lifelong resident of High Springs. Mr. Malans is survived by his aunt Mary Malans of Lake City, Florida, several cousins, and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father Jackie Malans, his grandmother Mamie Daniels, and his uncle E. M. “Mickey” Malans. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Malans will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 20, 2018 at the High Springs Cemetery, with Mr. Danny Deloach officiating. Arrangements have been placed under the care of Rick Gooding Funeral Home Chiefland, Florida 352-493-0050 and Cross City, Florida 352-498-5400.
