Obituary for John H. Dorre Of Minooka, passed away at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Monday, August 6, 2018. Age 72 years. Survived by his loving of 37 years Chris Dorre (nee Newman).

A daughter Megan Hope Dorre and a son Casey William Dorre. Three sisters Faith Gehris, Charity Anderson and Mary Dorre. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Severn R. and Hope Dorre. Two brothers Tom Dorre and Severn Dorre, Jr. A sister Rosalie Nickleski. John was born February 14, 1946 in Chicago, IL.

Retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. as a welder after 40 years. John also farmed in Minooka and was a member of the Will County Farm Bureau. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Minooka. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd. , Friday, August 10th at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
