Obituary for Marcus J. Krakar Jr. Passed away at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Thursday, September 6, 2018. Age 81 years. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years Patricia L. Krakar (nee Vogen), their children Ami L. (Brett) King and Patrick J. (Jan) Krakar.

Threee daughters Sue (Kent) Dotson, Adrienne (Steven) Waller and Jackie (Wayne) Juricic. A son Chris (April ) Krakar. Fourteen grandchildren Damien, Jocelyn, Nolan, Ethan, Elliot, Mike, Brooke, Jeff, Karen, Alyssa, Christian, D.J., Katie and Gracie.

Numerous great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Judith (Douglas) Martin and Barbara Kennedy. Preceded in death by his parents Marcus J. Krakar, Sr., and Bernice Krakar (nee Felbinger).

His brother David A. Krakar (Sept. 4, 2018). Marc was born April 9, 1937 in Chicago, IL.

Graduate of Joliet Catholic High School Class of 1955. President of Krakar Manufacturing Company in Joliet. Marc was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Member and Past President of Joliet Noon Lions Club and recipient of a 35 year perfect attendance Monarch Award. Past District Governor of Lions International District 1B.

He was a very active member of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and also the Board of Directors. Memorial services will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1910 Black Rd. , Saturday, September 15th at 11:00 A.M. Rev.

Loy Schlote officiating. Memorials to Our Savior Luthrean Church or Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
