Kevin Joshua Churnovic, age 25, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Kevin is survived by his beloved parents, Louis Churnovic Sr. and Kim Peters; siblings, Louis (Krista) Churnovic Jr., Carissa Cherie Churnovic, Bradley Rock Churnovic and Ricky McRaven; paternal grandmother, Carole (nee Svetlecich); and maternal grandmother, Rebecca Tezak; uncles, Larry Churnovic Jr and Luke Churnovic; aunt, Michelle Hall; nephews, Sylas and Landon; cousins, Brittney and Tiffany Churnovic and dear friends, Paul Koch and Robert Howard. Preceded by his paternal grandfather, Larry Churnovic Sr. and maternal grandfather, Richard Dupee.

Kevin was a graduate of Coal City High School class of 2011. He loved sports especially playing football. Kevin was a kindhearted man with a great sense of humor and was always making people smile.

He had a beautiful mind and soul and was a loving son, grandson, brother and dear friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Kevin’s life will begin on Saturday, November 10, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church in Joliet from a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest Hill.
