Jimmie C. Newell 80 of Joliet passed away peacefully on November 1st while receiving care at Joliet Area Community Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Candace Newell of Joliet and children: Jaime (Lauren) Newell of Joliet, Janice Kleitsch, Jim Newell and Audra Newell of California and Doreen Otts of Alabama. Grandchildren: Jaime Jr., Olivia and Cameron Newell of Joliet, Anthony and Amie Elrod, Felicia Urso, Erin Ely, Heather, Megan Newell in California, Lisa Murrah and Chris Elrod from Alabama.

Several great grandchildren, all of which will carry on his traditions including his love of fishing and the St. Louis Cardinals. Preceded in death by one son Darren Newell; granddaughter Kenadie Newell; parents Loe and Ethel Newell. Numerous brothers and sisters.

He will be missed greatly by his family and friends but is now in heaven and is at peace. As per Jimmie’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Private Services will be held at a later date.
