Obituary for James W. Pope James W. Pope – passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side, Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Age 77 years. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years Dorothy (nee Eungard) Pope, two sons James “Michael” (Mary) Pope and Darryl Zaccaria, three daughters Barbara Klock, Tammy Pope and Kimberly Santora; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sister Carol (Gerald) Hughes and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard Pope. James was a retired Pace Bus Operator, member of Judson Baptist Church, Joliet Moose Lodge #300 and F.O.E Aries #3585. Lifetime member of Dale A.C. James was an avid bowler.

He enjoyed playing bingo and gambling. His greatest enjoyment was fishing and camping with his family. James was a loving husband, dad and grandfather, he will be missed by all that loved him.

The family would like to especially thank Attuned Home Hospice for all the wonderful care and support throughout our journey. Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Saturday, October 20th at 11:00 A.M. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
