Obituary for Beverly Ann Beck Beverly Ann Beck passed away peacefully in her home after a long fought illness. A life well lived. Age 90.

Bev was born Beverly Ann Bell in South Dakota January 23, 1928. She married W. Nelson Beck in South Dakota in 1948. Survived by her three children William (Linda) Nelson Beck Jr. of Marquette, MI, John B. Beck of Centenial, CO and Belinda Jo (Gary) Meyer of Bend, OR.

Granddaughters Jennifer M. Beck and Sara A. Beck and one sister Lori (Harold) Mick. Preceded in death by her husband Nelson Beck in 1996 and her grandson Daniel John Beck in 2010. Beverly was an educator teaching in the Joliet School District for 15 years.

She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honorary society for educators: a member of the Woman’s Study Club of Joliet and a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church. Beverly had a degree in music and she loved great music. She conducted the choir at Grace United Methodist Church for 10 years.

Beverly traveled with her husband throughout the world. Places such as Bolivia, Peru, Russia, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Greece, Portugal, Italy, France, Great Britain, Ireland etc. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Beverly Ann Beck please visit our Sympathy Store.
