John’s Obituary John Hollin, 87, of Brownstown, IN, passed away at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at The Waters of Scottsburg. Born September 4, 1931 in Manchester, KY, he was the son of Henry Hollin and Mollie (Maxie) Hollin, who are both deceased. On January 12, 1953 in Manchester, KY, he married Ora (Wooten) Hollin, who passed away on November 15, 2011.

John retired from the Golden Foundry. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, hunting, and raising tobacco. Survivors include 6 children, Jewell (Roy Jr) Caudill of Crothersville, IN, Charlie (Jenny) Hollin of Brownstown, IN, Cecil (Barbara) Hollin of Brownstown, IN, Gary (Mary) Hollin of Florida, John Hollin Jr. of Salem, IN, Robert (Julie) Hollin of Brownstown, IN, 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, 4 sisters, Ethel Guy of Crothersville, IN, Catherine Hays of Illinois, Lilly Beatcraft of Shelbyville, IN, and Wilma Spicer of Scottsburg, IN.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kenneth Hollin and Tim Hollin, 4 brothers, Oscar, Granville, Henry Jr., and Herbert “Shorty” Hollin, 1 granddaughter and 1 great grandson. Pastor Paul Jones Jr. will conduct funeral services on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Friends may visit from Noon until 2:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
