Obituary for John Howard Moore John Howard Moore of Marietta, GA peacefully passed away on November 6, 2018. He was beloved by his family who surrounded him with prayer and provided him such joy. He was born on April 23, 1945 in Moultrie, GA.

He was preceded by his mother, Laura Edith Allen and father, Howard Lawson Moore. He was a graduate of Mercer University and Mercer University Law School. Upon graduation in 1970, he began a long and distinguished legal career in his newly adopted hometown of Marietta, GA, ultimately, founding the law firm of Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 1984.

He was immensely proud of his partners, attorneys, and staff; but was more known for his gentile demeanor, easy laugh, and kindness to others. A voracious reader of books, a fan of all things Georgia Bulldogs, and a master storyteller were but a few of his passions for life. He enjoyed friendships with many, who blessed him with their company.

He believed in helping others, his community, and his faith in God. His love for family and friends sustained him and provided daily comfort to those who held him dear. He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin Bradley Moore, his three children, John Kevin Moore (Ginny), Traci Moore Shropshire (Chip), and Bradley Allen Moore, his brother, Richard W. Moore (Mitzi), his sister, Ceil M. Mattingly, and seven grandchildren whom he adored.

There will be a celebration of life on November 9, 2018 at 2pm, at First United Methodist Church of Marietta. The family will receive visitors at the Church preceding the service and beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Marietta 56 Whitlock Avenue Marietta, GA 30064 or WellStarHospice in care of Wellstar Foundation 805 Sandy Plains Road Marietta, GA 30066.
