Obituary for John Hunter John R. Hunter of Greenfield and Morgantown, IN died December 21, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born on April 14, 1954 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Dr. Donn R. Hunter and Donna Bocock Hunter. He graduated with the Greenfield-Central class of 1972 and remained friends with many of those classmates throughout his life.

A graduate of Indiana University, John was self-employed as an accountant and CPA. John is survived by his daughter Rachel O’Brien Hunter (companion Bryan Boyd), his brother Sam Hunter (Pat), step-sister Carol Grier Marincovich (Peter), step-brother Tom Grier (Linda), niece Claire Hunter McRoberts (John), and nephew Max Hunter. He also leaves behind his dear friends Marcus and Melissa Nikou and their children Alaina and Maddox, who greatly enhanced the last three years of John’s life in Morgantown and whom he also considered to be family.
