Obituary for John ”Jack” Horgan John ”Jack” Horgan, 77 of Rossville, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital North in Staten Island, New York. Jack was born and raised in Brooklyn. He also lived in Long Island, Michigan and Eltingville, before settling in Rossville in 1999.

Jack was a longtime member of the Stolzenthaler Council Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fisherman and also loved reading, but above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who truly loved his family. He also was extremely fond of his dog, Bear, whom he loved talking walks with and spending time with.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Annette. Loving father of John (Susan), Jeffrey, Jason (Susan), Sarah Cavallaro (Stephen) and the late Jimmy, who passed in 1995. Devoted grandfather of Melissa, Kimberly, Ryan, Abigail, Stephen and Emma.

Cherished great grandfather of Isabella and Cecilia. Brother of Judy Bradley. He is also survived by his ”fury friend”, Bear.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10312.
