Obituary for John Leroy Palmer Our loving husband, father, and Papa, John Palmer, age 65, passed away suddenly May 25, 2018. Born January 1, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Oscar Leroy Palmer and Idress Claudine Palmer. Married Connie Bear on May 7, 1988 in Independence, Missouri.

On June 1, 1990 they were sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple. John attended Vanhorn High School, Kansas City, MO, and later William Jewel College in Liberty, Missouri where he received his bachelor’s degree. Before starting his own business, Resolute Pest Control, John received honors in his field of work from Orkin Pest Control in his early years.

John was a devout fan of Patriots football, Jazz basketball, and Ogden Raptor baseball. Survived by his loving wife Connie; children Leslie Jacobs, Aaron (Kim) Palmer, and Heather (Ian) Smith; brother James Palmer, and sister Mildred Brand; grandchildren Danielle (Chad) Christensen, Austin Palmer, Wyatt Palmer, Sasha Smith, Truman Smith, Violet Smith, and 2 great grandchildren, Zander and Olivia Christensen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Westwood Ward, 2123 North 2000 West, Farr West, Utah with a viewing to begin at 10:00 am, and a viewing from 7-9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South 1950 West, Roy, Utah.

Interment to follow the funeral at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, Utah.
