John Navarro (Johnny) Nalls was born in Kosciusko Mississippi on September 8th 1944 to John W. Nalls and Dorothy Nalls. After leaving Mississippi, John moved to Chicago, Illinois. John was married to Rosa Harris on November 2nd, 1982 and have been married for 37 years.

Two children were born of this union. A daughter and one son that proceeded him in death. David Samuel Nalls.

John worked as an Armored truck driver for Brinks Inc for over 12 years. After retiring from brinks in 2009. He began working as a special needs bus driver in Naperville, Illinois.

In his past time, John would play pool at the senior center. He enjoyed music and loved dancing anywhere he could. Most importantly he loved reading his bible.

John was an ordained minister and was actively involved in Christ care Center, a non-profit that was started in Chicago, IL by him and his wife Rosa. They would have weekly bible studies for the children in the neighborhood, give food to the homeless and minister the word of God wherever he was. John made it his mission to make sure everyone he came across knew about Jesus Christ.

John is survived by his wife Rosa Nalls, His five children, Teresa Nalls Perkins(Jerry) of Arlington TX, John Nalls Jr (Zshoni) of Seattle WA, Elnora Gillespie Of Allen TX, William Bradshaw of Chicago IL, and St Sarai Nalls of Mckinney Tx. Eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. One brother Dwight Terry(Debra) of Kosciusko, four sisters, Mary Lee Hearon of Hattiesburg, Ms; Deborah Ann Terry-cheeks(Chico), Pamela Terry and Jaqueline Terry(Dave) all of Kosciusko MS.

A lot of nieces and nephews and friends. Thank You Thank you for helping us celebrate John’s life. We would like to thank you for your love and support.
