JOHN PARRICK John P. Parrick, 74, of Quincy, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Friday (December 7, 2018) in his home. Born October 9, 1944 in Quincy, John was the son of Glenn and Mary Lauderdale Parrick. He married Linda L. Kaufman on December 31, 1968 in Quincy.

She preceded him in death on June 6, 1995. John was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God in St. Louis, Missouri. He loved music and playing guitar and his harmonica and enjoyed his exercise work outs, most recently at the Kroc Center.

Mr. Parrick owned and operated Brite Way Window Service in Quincy / Hannibal area for over 25 years. He later was employed for ground maintenance for the Quincy Park District until his retirement. Survivors include his daughter, Gina Troutner of Quincy; two grandchildren, Dustin Michael Troutner and Miranda Nicole Troutner both of Quincy; one great grandchild; a brother, Jim Parrick of Quincy; three sisters, Betty King (Bob) of Red Oak, TX, Janice Lierly of Peru, IL and Sandra Watkins of Cape Coral, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mr. Parrick was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda; and a son in law, Kevin Troutner. Cremation arrangements are in the care of the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Services will be private.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
