RORY HEILWAGEN Rory Heilwagen, 59, of Quincy Illinois passed away Tuesday (January 22, 2019) at 6:40 P.M. at Blessing Hospital of Quincy. He was born March 11, 1959 in Quincy the son of Jack and Arlene Aschemann Heilwagen. Rory was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.

He enjoyed traveling, camping and being outdoors with his parents and family. He especially enjoyed watching the Shoot Out in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Urban Cowboy was his favorite movie he also liked the series Bonanza, Waltons and Gunsmoke.

When Rory lived with his brother, Greg and his family, he thoroughly enjoyed his day outings with his Transitions worker Jeff Noble taking drives and eating lunch. He enjoyed his brothers cats and dogs and even made friends with a stray cat at Maple Terrace. He had an glowing smile and liked helping staff member Eric.

Rory was a proud uncle to Craig of Glenveiw, Illinois and Emma Heilwagen of Quincy. He is survived by three brothers Tom Heilwagen (Colleen) of Glenview, Illinois, Scott Heilwagen and Greg Heilwagen (Kim) both of Quincy. He was preceded in death by a brother Monty Heilwagen.

No services are planned at this time. The Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
