HAROLD WINTERS Harold Winters, 76, of Ravenden, Arkansas, formerly of Quincy, passed away at 2:21 p.m. Monday (January 7, 2019) in Eagle Crest Nursing Home in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Born July 9, 1942 in State Line, Indiana, Harold was the son of Charles and Rachel Oddlen Winters. He married Inez L. Surratt on September 15, 1962 in Davis, South Dakota.

She survives. Harold enjoyed woodworking and loved being outdoors, mushroom hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He was devoted to his family and loved the time he shared with his grandchildren.

Harold was employed at Quincy Compressor for 44 years, retiring in 2004. Survivors include his wife, Inez; two sons, Allen Winters (Susan) of Ravenden, AR and Robert Winters (Angela “Angie”) of Quincy; a daughter, Becki Winters of Quincy; eight grandchildren, Keira, Anna, Zachery (Alyssa), Ethan, Alisha, Alexander, Kellye and Eric; two great grandchildren, Annabella and Jaxon; four brothers, Laural Winters (Ann) of Panama City, FL, Edward Winters of Louisville, KY, Lester Winters of Covington, IN and Larry Winters (Karen) of West Bend, IN; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Winters was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held Monday morning at 10:15 at Greenmount Cemetery with Pastor Steve Disseler officiating. Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:00 until 10:00 at the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
