John R. Cryan, 83, of Aberdeen, NJ, passed away Sunday, September 2nd, at his residence. John R. was born in County Sligo, Ireland, on July 19, 1935, a son of the late Bridget (nee Cox) and Andrew Cryan. John R. immigrated to the United States on October 19, 1955.

He served in the U.S. Army and spent his career as an engineer. He is survived by his wife Breda (nee O’Connell) Cryan, children Deborah Cryan, Colleen Brady, Jack Cryan, and Susan Macchia, and sons-in-law Noel Brady and George Macchia. John R. also leaves behind his grandchildren Breda Marie, Shane, Sophia, Liam and Fiona.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 8th, 10am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Keyport, NJ. A private mausoleum encryptment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport NJ.
