William E. Blache, age 82, of Hazlet, formally of Bayside, Queens, NY peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. William was a tech for Brooklyn Union Gas Company upon his retirement. He now rejoins his wife, Shirley Ann in eternal rest.

He is predeceased by his parents, William and Anne (Cusick) Blache; and his beloved wife. He is survived by his five adoring children: William and his wife Denise Blache of Bellrose, NY; Robert and his wife Peggy Blache of South Amboy, NJ; Maureen Blache of Hazlet, NJ; Mary Ann and her husband Steve Marchi of Hazlet, NJ; Jeanne-Marie and her husband Larry Ramos of Middletown, NJ. He is also survived by his brother, Jack Blache of California; his ten cherished grandchildren: Billy Marchi; Robert Blache; Kaitlyn and her husband Jeff Farmer; Richard Blache; Kimberly and her husband PJ Bliss; Melissa Blache; Laura Marchi and her fiancé Nick; Christina Marchi and her fiancé Cody; Jamie Blache; Megan Blache; his five precious great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Madison, and Adison Siefert-Blache; Abigail Farmer; and Brindley Blache.

William will be fondly remembered, and always in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, 07735 in Keyport, NJ, from 5-9PM. On Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 9:30AM a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Family R.C. Church in Union Beach, NJ.
