John Parker, 87, died on February 04, 2019. He was born on Sept. 20, 1931 in Cairo, Illinois.

He was raised and attended school there. He served in the US Air Force from Feb. 1952 and retired as a Tech Sgt.

In 1974. He served his whole career in the Air Force Communication Service. He was employed afterwards by Knight-Ridder Financial Information Services in Kansas City, MO and worked in several capacities until his retirement in 1990.

He resided in Kerrville at the Wilderness since 1997. His last retirement job was as a bus driver for Kerrville ISD for 11 years until 2010. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia.

John is survived by his current wife, Dale Parker; also three daughters, two granddaughters, two grandsons, one great granddaughter and twin great grandsons.
