John’s Obituary COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 2170 HIGHWAY 88, BRICK, NJ John Thomas Curley Sr., age 84, of Howell, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Preferred Care at Wall. Born and raised in New York City, he moved to Howell 52 years ago. John enjoyed speculating in the stock market.

He enjoyed watching sports, and was an avid fan of the Yankees and Giants. John is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary (Dowd) Curley of Howell; his son John Thomas Curley Jr. of Howell; 2 sisters Joan Gallagher of New York City, NY and Kathleen Torkington of Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law James P. Dowd of New York City; and several nieces and nephews. Donations in John’s memory can be made to the American Arthritis Foundation, 555 US-1, Iselin, NJ 08830 or Vitas Hospice, 1040 Broad St., Ste 300, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.

All services were held privately under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, Brick.
