Obituary for John Thomas (Tom) Hutton In loving memory of John Thomas (Tom) Hutton John Thomas (Tom) Hutton, age 79, longtime resident of Oak Ridge, passed away on June 26th, 2018. Tom was a dedicated husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, mentor, and friend. He was a longtime employee of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a returned Peace Corps volunteer.

Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother, Fred Charles and Mary Louise (Betsey) Hutton; his brothers, Michael Fred Hutton, James Lewis Hutton, Gerald Hutton, and Philip Hutton; and his sister-in-law, Diane (Glass) Hutton. Tom is survived by his wife, Catherine Hutton, and daughters, Naomi Hutton, Rebekah Hutton, and Susanna (Hutton) Hadley; sons-in-law, Jeremy Harless, Scott Outten, and Christopher Hadley; and grand-children, Preston Hickerson, Jessika Endicott, and Ryan and Rayne Hadley. Tom is also survived by his brothers Anthony Hutton and his wife Judy (McNamer) Hutton, and Robert Hutton and his wife Patricia (Chapin) Hutton; his nieces and nephews, Carla Hutton and husband Dave Faris, Robert Hutton II and fiancée Tiffany Franklin, Zachary Hutton, Jacob Hutton and wife Olena Hutton, John Hutton, Zoe Hutton, Charles Hutton, James Hutton and his wife Lisa Hutton, Brandon Hultquist, Veronika Hutton, Braiden Harless, Emma Hutton, Olivia Hutton, Maxwell Hutton, and Luke Hutton; and close family friends Rebecca Boateng and Jane Baah.

The family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM on Sunday, July 1st, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. Tom will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at Kingston Memorial Gardens with the ashes of his beloved pup dog, Bandit. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Kingswood Home for Children (www.
