Obituary for John William Dakota Reid Print John William Dakota Reid, 16, of Dinwiddie passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Dakota was a member of Destination Church, Hopewell and an 11th grade student at Dinwiddie High School. After graduation he had hoped to attend trade school to become a welder.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John William Reid, Pamela K. Crostic, and Orville Perkins Jr He is survived by his father, John Allen Lee Reid (Stephanie Reid) of McKenney; mother, Valerie Perkins Reid (Dora Davis) of Tennessee; grandmother, Edna K. Reid of McKenney; grandparents, Donald and Carol Fowler of Florida; siblings, John Westley Reid of Hopewell, Shahnaz Vellani of Ohio, Allyson Hodges of Florida, Samuel Tillett of Kentucky, Andrew Tillett of McKenney, Hannah Reid of McKenney, and Noah Reid of McKenney; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; one niece; and one nephew. Funeral arrangements made by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
