John Frederick Lancaster, 69, of Owensboro, passed away on his birthday Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was born on January 13, 1950 in Daviess County to the late Harold & Kathleen Lancaster. He retired from Kimberly-Clark and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He enjoyed fishing, Atlanta Braves baseball and going to the beach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Lancaster. Survivors include his children; Jarryd (Alexandria) Lancaster & Lauren Lancaster (Tony Burian); three grandchildren, Connor & Emma Burian & Sydney Lancaster; three brothers, Tony (Donna), Rick (Robin), and Steve (Judy) Lancaster; four sisters, Connie (Dale) Hamilton, Margaret Lancaster, Terri Lancaster, & Becky (Larry) Franey; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and after 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
