Jose’s Obituary Jose Flores-Duran, 90 of Newman passed away Saturday, February 9th at the Main West PostAcute Care in Turlock. Mr. Flores-Duran was born in Mexico and was a resident of Newman for 12 years. He was a farm laborer.

Mr. Flores-Duran is survived by his children, Maria Villifana-Flores of Westley, Cesario Flores, Juan Flores both of Patterson, Cruz Flores, Jose Flores both of Newman, Gaudencio Flores of Stevinson, Noe Flores of Patterson, Patricia Casillas-Flores of Mexico and Hilario Flores of Patterson; one brother of Mexico; one sister of Mexico; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Flores in 1998. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 13th at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Newman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 14th at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Newman. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman. Services conducted by Hillview Funeral Chapel, Newman.
