Jose V. Selaya, 84, of Elizabeth, N.J. passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth. Born in Havana, Cuba he came to the United States in 1967 and has lived most of the time in Elizabeth. Mr. Selaya was an accountant and insurance broker at Pepin Selaya & Co., 1071 Elizabeth Ave.

, Elizabeth. He received his degree in accounting from the University of Havana and also attended Pace University in New York. Jose was an honorary life member of the fourth degree Knights Of Columbus Council 11213.

Mr. Selaya is the beloved husband for 56 years of Lourdes (Morgado) Selaya, devoted father of Jose A. Selaya of Elizabeth, Lourdes Selaya of New York, NY, and Cristina Vittore and her husband James of Clark, loving brother of Antonio of Hollywood, Fla. , and cherished grandfather of Olivia and Vincent. Visiting Sunday, 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, January 28, 2019, 9:00 AM at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. Georges Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036. Funeral Mass St. Mary Of The Assumption Church, Elizabeth 10:00AM Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Newark.
