Obituary for Mr. Joseph Frank Storzieri Joseph Frank Storzieri, 87, of Wall, passed away on August 25, 2018. Joe was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 1952. Afterwards, he joined the US Navy.

He served as a hospital corpsman at St. Albans Naval Hospital in Long Island. During that time he met Mildred Hartshorn (also a hospital corpsman) and they were wed at the hospital chapel on September 26, 1956. After leaving the Navy, they moved to Ocean Grove with their daughter Vicki, to be closer to Millie’s parents, Harold and Theresa Hartshorn.

Joe worked for Gerber’s Baby Food as a salesman for over seven years. He then went to work for McDonalds Pro Shop in Neptune and within a year, he and his wife bought the business. They bought their own property on Hwy.

35 in Neptune and built their own storefront which is still active as All Star Pro & Sports. Joe was a very well respected businessman for over 50 years and his customers loved him dearly. He had a passion for pool, golf, poker and darts.

Joe belonged to the American Legion Post #346, Elks Rifle and Pistol Club and the VFW. He is predeceased by his parents Orazio and Louise Storzieri, his brothers Nicky and Tony Storzieri, his sister Mary Hornick and his daughter Vicki Storzieri. He is survived by his sons James Orazio Storzieri and Gregory Joseph Storzieri and his wife Linda, his grandchildren Alyse Storzieri and Damien Schmidt, his sister Mitzi Roselle, his brother Micheal J. Storzieri, his wife Mildred Storzieri and his friend Georgina Stelman.
