Obituary for Mr. Richard J. Meyers Richard Meyers, 80, of Interlaken passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at Manor By the Sea, Ocean Grove, surrounded by his family. Born in New Kensington, PA, he came to NJ in 1963 to teach at Asbury Park High School where he taught for forty years. A devoted husband, father and grandfather who was known for his gentle way, infectious sense of adventure and dedication to family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Meyers; children, Lynn Rosenberg, Michael Meyers, Susan Rebeiz, Daniel Kochman and Marcie Valenta; and thirteen grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Ely Funeral Home, Neptune, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.
