Obituary for Joseph Leonard “Joe” Robinson Print Joseph Leonard Robinson, Sr., age 75 of Lincoln Street, Grafton, WV passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Rosewood Health Care Center in Grafton. He was born May 3, 1943 in Grafton, WV the son of the late Joseph Ray and Edna V. (Efaw) Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Jennifer “Jenny” Lou (Hussion) Robinson; one son, Joseph “Joey” Leonard Robinson, Jr., at home; three nephews, Vernon Cathell, Jr. and wife Jane of Grafton, Danny Cathell and wife Brenda of Grafton, and Brandon Hussion of Beckley, WV; one niece, Madison Hussion also of Beckley; his mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Nancy Hussion of Grafton; and one brother-in-law, Anthony James “Tony” Hussion of Beaver, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, June Cathell and one niece, Starla Thompson. Joe graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1961. He worked at the Mountain Lair in Morgantown then on the assembly line at St. Regis Box Company in Grafton for over 30 years.
He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Grafton. He loved his family and his dog, “Ginger”. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed watching WVU football and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Graveside service will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Grafton with Father Jim O’Connor as celebrant. Online Condolences: www.
