Joseph N. Longo, 76, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March, 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1942 in Steubenville, a son of the late Antonio Longo & the late Dorothy Drayer Longo Rock. He was an Army veteran of Viet Nam receiving both the Bronze Star & Purple Heart and a member of Wintersville American Legion Post 557 & DAV.

Joe worked out of Laborers Union Local 809. He was preceded in death by his son Joe R. “Joey” Longo; infant twin brother; brother John Longo and two sisters Jane Belli & Dorris McIntyre. Joe is survived by his wife Jacqueline “Jackie” Bell Longo; daughter Gloria “Sissy” Reynolds; grandchildren Paige Reynolds, Evan & Eric Longo; daughter-in-law Lindy Longo; canine companion Sugar Mae; sister Della (Chuck) Hartline; several nieces & nephews and best friend Bill Kugler.

The family wishes to thank Tawny and Valley Hospice for their excellent care. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Friday from noon until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Michael Gossett officiating.

Burial at Fort Steuben. Hopedale American Legion will provide military honors.
