Vokroy, age 83, of Selbyville, Delaware died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Maryland. He was born in Glen Burnie, Md. , and was the son of the late Joseph A. and Marie (Hranicka) Vokroy.

He lived in the Brooklyn Park/Curtis Bay area for more than 70 years. He was a longtime member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Baltimore, Md. , the Knights of Columbus, the Elks Lodge, and after moving to Delaware in 2011, became a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and the Roxana Moose Lodge.

He worked as a research machinist for Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as Carnegie Institute. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Feeley) Vokroy of Selbyville; a daughter, Colleen Badger and husband Bill of Selbyville; and a granddaughter, Hilary Badger. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, January 30 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bethany Beach with Father John Klevence officiating.
