DePrator, 52, of 137 Timberline Road, St. Marys, died Thursday night (Jan. 17, 2019) at his residence following a brief illness. Born July 9, 1966, in St. Marys, he was a son of Jerome and Kathleen Schade DePrator.

On May 4, 1991, in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, he married Judy A. Aiello, who survives. He resided in St. Marys all his life. He graduated from St. Marys Area High School in 1984.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, St. Marys and the St. Marys Sportsmen’s Club. He had been a member of the St. Marys K of C. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing and just being in the woods. He had enjoyed spending time on camping trips when his sons were involved in Boy Scouts as a chaperone.

Survived in addition to his wife, Judy, at home, are three children, Anthony (Francesca) DePrator of York and Felicia DePrator and Benjamin DePrator at home; six siblings, David (Marcia) DePrator of Phoenix, Ariz. , Victor DePrator of St. Marys, Paul (Becky) DePrator of Cleveland, Ohio, Virginia (Walter) Pruchnik, Kate (Dan) Richardson and Beth (Rocco) Petrilli; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Jan. 26 at Sacred Heart Church, St. Marys, with the Rev.

Michael Gabler, OSB, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. If desired, memorial contributions should be made to Penn Highlands Community Nurses, Home Hospice Services, 757 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, PA or to the American Cancer Society, 117 N. Michael St., St. Marys, PA 15857 Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
