Joseph F. Medeiros, “Uncle Buck”, 64, of Office Parkway, East Providence, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born January 13, 1954, in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel P. and Luiza (Rocha) Medeiros. He was the father of Joseph Medeiros Jr. and Kenneth Medeiros, and the grandfather of Julia Medeiros and Dylan Medeiros.

He was the brother of Maria Daniels, Maryann Stanley, Lucy Lopes, and Paula, Maria, Manuel, John, Sylvester, and Bento Medeiros, and of the late Ana Maria Medeiros-Mello, and the late Thomas, Antonio, Norberto and Cesar Medeiros. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews, was the uncle of the late Derek, Linda and Benny Medeiros. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, July 3, at 10am in Our Lady the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence.

(Everyone is to meet directly at church). Burial will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
