Joseph E. Ryan Jr., 78, of Main Rd. , Tiverton, passed away early Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Totoro) Ryan.

Born January 14, 1940, in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Joseph E. Ryan Sr. and Catherine Thelma (McNamara) Ryan. In addition to his wife of 59 years, he leaves his daughter, Karen Ryan; his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Virginia Ryan; his granddaughters, Brooke and Katelyn; his great granddaughters, Gillian, Nicole and Beatrice; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jean Ryan; his nephew, T.J. Ryan and his wife, Ginnette; his great niece, Savannah and great nephew, Colt. He was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Tyler.

A funeral service will take place Monday, Sept. 17 at 11am in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Visitation will be Monday morning, 10am until 11am.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Hope Hospice, 1085 No. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
