Josephine M. Kostuck, 95, of Fortville, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Fall Creek Retirement Center. She was born September 21, 1923 in Hamilton County to Murry and Bertha (Lennan) Marshall. Josephine had been a member of the Fortville Brotherhood and Sisterhood, Telephone Pioneers of America.

She was a 1941 graduate of the old Fortville High School and retired as a receptionist in 1985 from the former Western Electric Plant in Indianapolis after 25 years’ service. Josephine is survived by son Michael (Beth) Kostuck of Pendleton; grandchildren Rachel (Greg) Bostic, Roger (Roxy) Kostuck, Ryan Kostuck and Ross Kostuck and great-grandchildren Jesse Bostic and Kingston Kostuck. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Kostuck in 2005, her parents and siblings: Bob Marshall, Mahlon Marshall, Dallas Marshall and Fayola Leonard.

A funeral to celebrate Josephine’s life will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
