Obituary for Wilbur Lee Cash GREENFIELD – Wilbur Lee Cash, age 82, of Greenfield, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. He was born on July 18, 1936 in Creedmore, North Carolina as the son of William John Cash and Julia Brent (Overton). He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Wilbur married Patty Lynn (Leggett) on April 5, 1985 in Florida. He worked for Nasby Excavating for 16 years. Wilbur loved spending time with his family and horses.

Wilbur is survived by his wife, Patty Cash; children, Rodney Cash, Michelle Ferrell, Zhawnte Kirby, Chantel Martz, Nicole Cash, Tiffany Cash, and Xavier Cash; sister, Christine DeShields; grandchildren, Amanda, Kristin, Bryan Claire, Abbigayle, Brianna, Carrissa, Logan, Rose and Reagan; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Lynne Stopher; brothers, Julian and Claude; and sister, Emogene. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Edelweiss Equine-Assisted Therapy Center, Inc., 531 W. 100 S., Greenfield, IN 46140 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
