On Tuesday evening, January 15, 2019 Josette Gladys Williams-Brown entered into eternal rest. She was born on December 15, 1981 to the union of the late Joseph Percy (J. P) Williams and Naomi J. Williams.

She was the youngest of three siblings. Josette was a member of Loving Four Baptist Church pastored by Rev. Matthew Tanner, Jr

She attended Henry C. Schaumberg Elementary School, and proud graduate of St. Mary’s Academy class of 1999. She attended both Delgado Community College and Southern University at New Orleans. With the onset of Hurricane Katrina, Josette and her family moved to Houston, Texas where she continued her education at Houston Community College and obtained an Associate’s Degree.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Percy Williams, her grandparents Willie and Gladys Jackson and Ellis and Gladys Williams. She is survived by her husband Roosevelt C. Brown, mother Naomi Williams, daughter Jayme Grace Williams, step-daughters Myeshia Brown and Jazmine Beard (Clifton). Brothers Eric M. Thomas Sr., Jose Matthews (Arthella), sister Jaune Michelle Thomas, Auntie to Ariane and Eric M. Thomas Jr. Grandmother to Tony Summers Jr, Heaven and Isaiah Beard.

Godparents Dominic and Rosemary Martin as well as a host of family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family as well as the Pastor, officers and members of Loving Four Baptist Church, Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel, Staff of Delores T. Aaron Elementary School and St. Mary’s Academy class of 1999 are invited to attend funeral services at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Loving Four Baptist Tabernacle, 2900 Thalia St. Visitation is at 9:00 AM. Interment: Restlawn Cemetery.
