OBITUARY Josie Mae Snow June 25, 1936 – January 1, 2019 Mrs. Josie Mae Snow, age 82 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 1, 2019. She was born in Woodland, Alabama to the late Angus and Eunice Myrtle Brown Shelnutt. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from LaGrange College and retired after 30 years of teaching math and chemistry, mainly in Clayton County.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Jenkinsburg and enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling with her husband of 57 years. Survivors include her husband, Don Snow; children, Terri (Mark) Grant of McDonough and Dwayne (Jana) Snow of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Austin, Jared, Evan and Alaina Grant, Reagan and Ryan Snow; sister, Patricia (Mark) Hurd of Lovejoy; niece, Laura Hurd. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 – 11:00 AM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel.

Ministers Larry Thompson and Phillip Prince will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park. Friends may visit the family Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
