Obituary for Joyce Ann Buck Joyce Ann Buck, 61, of 112 Field Street, passed away on April 26, 2018 at Wesley Long Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 30th at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Jerry Norman officiating. Joyce was born in Lexington, VA to the late Lytle Higgins and Lillie Odell Fix Higgins.

She was a clerk at several different convenience stores and loved the interaction with customers. She had a soft spot for animals and had rescued many over the years and she especially enjoyed working in her yard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Higgins.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Buck, Sr.; son, Kenneth Buck, Jr.; daughter, Tammy Buck; grandchildren, Kenny Leon Buck, III, Dustin Jennings Buck, Timothy Buck, Elexis Buck and Mason Buck; great granddaughter, Hadley Buck; brothers, Freddy, Wilmer, Larry and Thomas Higgins; sisters, Darlene Higgins, Hazel Higgins Roberts and Lynn Higgins Thompson.
