Maria Joyce M (Masciulli) of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, peacefully on June 8 surrounded by her loving family in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife William Maria. Loving daughter of Edith (Carbone) and the late Ralph Masciulli.

Dear sister of the late James Masciulli. Cherished aunt of James Masciulli, Lorraine Burri and the late Paul Masciulli. Also survived by her many adored great and grand nieces , nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends will honor Joyce’s life by gathering in the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Wednesday morning from 10-11 AM before leaving in procession to St. Maria Goretti Church, Lynnfield for a funeral mass in celebration of her life at 12 Noon. Services will conclude with Joyce being laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden for more info please visit www. ruggieromh.com Joyce was born in Revere, MA on January 30, 1947.

She worked as a legal secretary for many years, including working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Joyce batteled with her sickness for many years before passing away in her mother’s arms on Friday morning, June 8.
